HeartReach Center has been awarded a Save the Storks grant and is currently raising money towards the purchase of our very own mobile medical unit.
The Mat-Su Valley is the fastest-growing region in Alaska and the second most populated area behind the Municipality of Anchorage. However, many people live in small communities where accessing pregnancy and family resources remains difficult.
Gaining a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) would be an amazing resource to our community as it would allow HeartReach Center to better serve those who live in remote areas of the Mat-Su as well as gain a presence at the Mat-Su College campus, local health fairs, and the Alaska State Fair.
This expansion of services will allow HeartReach Center to reach many of our most vulnerable neighbors where they are and in their moment of need.
