Opportunities to serve...
or in the center.
At HeartReach, we take volunteer training and appreciation seriously. We understand that it takes courage and sacrifice to be a volunteer, and we commit to faithfully walk alongside you through each next step into serving.
To give you a brief overview, all in-center volunteers will go through HRC Volunteer training and ongoing, on-the-job training. Additionally, those serving as parent mentor volunteers will also complete the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors) 24-hour, educational certificate program and have access to ongoing supervision and support.
If you're interested receiving more information about volunteering in our center or with clients, please take a moment to fill out our brief volunteer interest assessment, which includes more information about serving oportunities as well as time commitments for each. Upon completion, you should hear from our client services manager, Kim Ford, within the next business day. If you have not heard from Kim within that time frame, please contact us.
or behind the scenes.
At HeartReach, we realize that while everyone has unique God-given gifts and abilities, serving with people or in the center may not be a fit for all our friends. The good news is that HeartReach Center couldn't function without people just like you, and we would still like for you to be part of this ministry. Some examples of our behind-the-scenes serving opportunities include: fundraising events (especially decor, set-up and tear-down), at-the-center maintenance and upkeep, landscaping and even snow plowing or shoveling.
Even though you may desire a more behind the scenes type of role at HeartReach Center, we still want to get to know you. As such, even our behind the scenes team members are required to complete a volunteer application.
